E-Mail Configuration

To verify that your e-mail settings are correct, follow
the directions below.

Netscape Communicator

You do not have to be connected to the Internet to verify your e-mail settings.

  1. Start Netscape Messenger by double clicking on the icon.
    Click on Edit from the main tool bar at the top.
    Click on Preferences at the bottom.
    Click on Mail & Newsgroups (Make sure there is a – (minus) to the left, if there isn’t, click once on the + (plus).
  2. Click on Mail Servers.
  3. Click on Edit - make sure your Incoming Mail Server reads: pop.illicom.net and your username does not have a -0015.  Click Okay.
    Make sure the Outgoing Mail Server reads: mail.illicom.net
    Username for your outgoing mail should be your dialup username only WITHOUT the -0015 and not the entire e-mail address.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Shut down Netscape Messenger.
